What is Reiki
Reiki is Universal or Vital Life Force Energy and is a holistic Energy Healing art. It was founded in Japan by Buddhist monk Mikao Usui in the late 19th century.
‘Rei’ means Universal or Vital and ‘Ki’ means Energy.
What happens in your Reiki session?
Your initial session will involve a small conversation to assess what you would like to work on and how are you feeling – physically, emotionally and mentally.
I will then ask you to lay on the Reiki table making you comfortable with a warm blanket, eye mask and essential oils. You do remain fully clothed.
I assess your Energy Field and Chakras with a crystal pendulum – This is a great way for your body to show me how your emotional and spiritual bodies are feeling.
The session will include a combination of hands on Reiki and energy clearing, cleansing and balancing.
No two sessions are the same, your body will guide me towards the necessary areas.
With your permission, I use sage to clear and cleanse areas in and around your body adding crystals to enhance your healing.
Sessions are approximately 75 minutes.

What is Reiki and Energy Cleansing good for?
It is amazing how Reiki and Energy cleansing will help anything that does not feel right in your body – it may be an emotional issue, physical, stress, anxiety or depression. We store a lot of our emotions in our physical body and therefore illnesses and anxiety can manifest. It helps to clear and cleanse your emotional body often, to rid fears and prevent illnesses as best we can. Think of Energy cleansing as a tune up for your body, as you would tune up your car, we need to also cleanse the physical body of anything from the past that no longer serves us.
What to expect after the session.
Everyone will have their own experience and it’s important to honor yours.
Most experience Clarity and lightness through the cleansing and balancing of the energy body (aura). You may also feel sleepy and a little emotional.
Sometimes it is felt immediately and sometimes it may take days or even weeks to shift.
It is important to rest after a session or go for a quiet walk to allow your body to embed the total experience.
It is recommended to have a follow up session after 1-3 weeks.
